Due to our continued expansion throughout Europe an exciting opportunity has arisen for bi-lingual Area Representatives to join us in a varied role comprising a mix of New Business Development and Delivery work.

As an Area Representative, you'll be the face of our company as we expand into new areas. It's a crucial role as you will play a major part in actively developing our customer base throughout the area with targeted field sales, whilst providing the highest levels of customer service to complete deliveries in a timely, effective manner.

Nella Cutlery is the UK’s leading knife sharpening and catering equipment supplier, established in 1901 we now have over 120 years of operation in the industry.

You’ll be liaising with senior managers throughout the business and driving our business forward by safely collecting and delivering our own brand of high quality, sharpened knives to chefs and restaurants within the area. On top of this you will also act as a field sales representative growing our presence in the area and bring on new customers through a range of sales techniques.

Delivering around 50 sets a day, you’ll have a good mind for planning and solving problems, as well as excellent time management skills and a highly professional approach to customer service.

Title: Area Representative

Location: Roles available throughout Northern France, Belgium and the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague)

Salary: €32,500 +  Weekly performance bonus of up to €200 Per Week & Monthly commission giving you a combined OTE of €45,000.

 

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday  - Variable start times between 6am-10am with an 10 hour day (Dependant on local restrictions). Your time will be split between deliveries and business development.

  • Check for 'cash on delivery' deliveries and ensure all monies are collected
  • Check for 'charge' deliveries and ensure all signatures are given
  • Ability to correctly fill out paperwork
  • Liaising with Senior Managers throughout the business to ensure we are on track
  • Submitting paperwork in a timely / professional manner
  • To project a good company image, both internally and externally
  • Provide high quality customer service at all times

 The ideal Candidate:

  • Must have a full, manual driving licence, with no endorsements.
  • Ideally 1+ years of proven B2B or B2C Sales Experience
  • Ideally some Delivery Driving experience
  • Excellent verbal English skills in addition to your native language
  • The ability to think on your feet and adapt to the situation
  • High energy and a positive, focused approach
  • A strong desire to succeed, with a tenacious attitude
